Carloh makes his long-awaited return to Hot Creations as he releases his ‘Quisiera Tenerte’ EP. The Ecuadorian talent returns to Jamie Jones and Lee Foss’ imprint six years on from his label debut with two bubbling house numbers, set for release on 28th June 2024.

Carloh has risen through the ranks of Ecuador’s electronic music scene with standout releases on Revival New York, Solid Grooves Raw, and SB Recordings over recent years. Receiving praise from heavyweights like Michael Bibi, Loco Dice, and Wade, he has become a firm favourite with clubbers thanks to his vibrant, Latin-infused sets. Marking his return to Hot Creations following his kicking ‘Sound Pump’ EP in 2018 and his three-track ‘Ritmo Rico’ EP on sister label Hottrax, he now presents ‘Quisiera Tenerta’ – showcasing the soulful rhythms of his South American roots.

“Quisiera Tenerte’ and ‘Samba Mambo’ are inspired by Latin music. As someone originally from Ecuador, the musical concept fuses the Spanish music I carry in my veins while transporting listeners to the past, to the era when house music was created with samplers and drum machine loops. With these tracks, I bring you the Latin flavour while refreshing the idea and methods of old-school sampling in house music.” – Carloh

‘Quisiera Tenerte’ is a magnetic dancefloor filler, pulsing with a lively groove and dripped in resonant basslines, groove-led percussion, and vocals that draw you in. Up next is the modular jam of ‘Samba Mambo’, with its menacing chopped vocals, glitchy textures and weighty low-ends shaping up the package.
