Yotto

Yotto, whose real name is Otto Yliperttula, is a Finnish DJ, producer, and songwriter known for his progressive house and melodic techno sound. He’s gained recognition for his atmospheric soundscapes, emotional melodies, and driving basslines, releasing music on labels like Anjunadeep and his own imprint, Odd One Out. Yotto’s career includes notable remixes for artists like Gorillaz, Rufus Du Sol, and Coldplay, as well as successful original releases and his debut album, Hyperfall, on Anjunadeep.

Yotto’s musical journey began with classical piano lessons and a love for various genres, including hip-hop, metal, and eventually dance music. He was initially part of the Helsinki-based duo Something Good before establishing himself as Yotto, joining Anjunadeep in 2015. His music has garnered significant support from prominent DJs and radio shows, with multiple tracks earning “Essential New Tune” and “Hottest Record in the World” accolades on BBC Radio 1. Yotto’s own label, Odd One Out, has become a platform for both established and emerging artists in the melodic house and techno scene.
