Straight from the heart of Amsterdam’s vibrant club scene, PIV founder Prunk and RED 87 offer up a first-time collaboration with their ‘Express EP’, landing 23rd May. Featuring three original cuts and a remix from UK duo RUZE, the release captures the duo’s shared passion for soulful house grooves—delivered just in time for summer.

Opening with the title track, ‘Express’ brings together lush synth pads, simmering hi-hats, and echoed vocal snippets, crafting a warm, hypnotic energy that reflects the pair’s signature sound. RUZE steps in to reimagine the original with a sun-soaked, transportive flair, adding vibrant textures and an irresistible late-night feel. On ‘Listen’, Prunk and RED 87 showcase their knack for stripped-back club music, layering rippling melodies and tight, luscious percussion built for both the dancefloor and the afters. Closing cut ‘Break It Down’ tips its hat to classic Hot Creations energy—funk-laced, percussive, and oozing with charm, it wraps up the EP with a high-octane flourish.

"When I was a young Prunk, I had a Hot Creations record on my wall. I remember playing all kinds of tracks from the label over the last 15 years, and I still do. From Hot Natured and Jamie Jones to Burnski and Danny Daze. It’s one of those labels that is on almost every producer’s release bucket list. After a few amazing shows at Paradise Ibiza over the last summer, I am finally releasing on the label. Obviously, a dream come true, and I’m happy to do it with one of my really good friends RED 87.
